Pregis is proud to join Climate Week NYC, one of the world’s most influential climate gatherings, where global leaders come together to accelerate action and drive meaningful change. As part of The Climate Pledge Hub, Pregis will showcase its leadership in sustainable packaging through an interactive session designed to help brands turn ambition into action.
What is Climate Week NYC?
Climate Week NYC, hosted by Climate Group, will take place September 21–28. It’s recognized as the world’s largest annual climate event, bringing together global leaders, innovators, and changemakers in New York City.
The world is changing, and there’s never been a more important time to come together and discuss these new realities. This week-long event will tackle the defining climate challenges of our time, helping shape the future of policy, business strategy, and collective action for years to come.
As part of Climate Week NYC, The Climate Pledge Hub will bring together the Pledge community and invited guests for a series of signatory-hosted workshops focused on accelerating climate action. Pregis, a proud Climate Pledge Signatory, will be in attendance and is pleased to lead a featured session during the Hub, presented by McKinsey Sustainability.
The Sustainable Shift: Practical Guide for Packaging Transformation
As consumer demand and regulatory pressures for sustainable packaging intensify, brands are seeking actionable strategies to reduce environmental impact without compromising performance or profitability. This interactive session, led by Kris Getty, Pregis Chief Sustainability Officer, and Meghan LaVallie, Pregis Senior Director of Business Development, will guide CPGs and brand leaders through a practical roadmap for integrating sustainability into their packaging strategies. Participants will engage in collaborative brainstorming exercises designed to help identify opportunities within their own packaging ecosystems. Attendees will walk away with a tailored set of ideas and a foundational strategy to begin—or accelerate—their journey toward sustainable packaging.
